lived and worked high atop a Hawaiian volcano
in an observatory watching the sun.
Between filming huge solar eruptions
he worked on self produced art-films.
Some people thought his brain was affected by
the flying saucers that visited Haleakala crater
at night.They claimed it showed in his films.
